The “Free Hugs” project is something I’ve been wanting to do for years and on my last birthday I decided to use the day as an opportunity to show the city of San Francisco some much needed love.
A few of the conversations I had before and after the hugs included:
“My Mom died last weekend and I’ve been so busy dealing with the service I haven’t had time to process her passing.”
“I haven’t had a hug all year.”
(it was July)
“I had the worst day at work and I don’t want to go back.”
“The world needs more of this. Thank you.”
Love costs nothing, yet gives everything.
